Between the Hunting Pavilion and the Balat Greenhouse you will find a collection of coniferous trees grouped by family and genus. The majority of them were planted in the last century and are now beautiful mature trees, representatives of almost all species. You will discover more than 250 botanical species and cultivars. They carry pine cones, spruce, or cedar cones of all sizes. One of the eye-catchers is Wollemia nobilis, a tree species native to Australia that was thought to be extinct until 1994!
