Meise Botanic Garden is internationally renowned for its ground-breaking research into plant species – we have no less than 20,000!

We also manage world-class collections in the Herbarium, the Seed Bank, and the library. Our researchers work on projects for the protection of endangered plants and vegetation, both in Belgium and in Africa.

We share our botanical expertise with the general public and make our visitors aware of the importance of plants, all in beautiful green surroundings.
