The Bee House

Bees are indispensable for the pollination of plants, and pollination is crucial not only for the survival of the plant, but also for our food.

More than 300 species of bees and bumblebees live in our regions. You can see the honey bee, one of these species, hard at work in the bee hall. This is where our delicious Botanic Garden honey is made!

Keep an eye out for wild bees in our flower field.  

Many wild bee species make a nest underground, while we provide the others with a cozy insect hotel, which allows you to observe the fascinating life of wild bees. A tip for at home!

You will find the apiary at the back of the estate in the quiet part. With a bit of luck you will see the beekeeper at work.
